"We Were All a Lot Older Then"

I've mentioned before a musician named David Lynn Jones who recorded four CDs then pretty much disappeared. I finally bought the three I didn't have - they were ridiculously cheap, about $6 each from Amazon for used CDs including shipping. The one his label intended to be his commercial breakthrough, Wood, Wind, and Fire, has been described as "slick and overproduced", which I guess is a legit criticism, though I am enjoying the CD a lot; DLJ's talent shines through it all.

Anyway, there's one very simple song on the album which I thought I'd share, titled "We Were All A Lot Older Then." I think it gives a better idea of DLJ's talent than the pop-ish mixes on much of the album:

Ice storm in the heartland

To give some idea what the folks in KY and elsewhere are facing, some pictures on Gypsy Scholar's blog showing the extent of the ice storm in the Ozarks further south.
