- I figured finding out Iraqi oil production numbers would be a simple matter. Wrong. As far as I can tell, the Iraqi Ministry of Oil which is responsible for the numbers doesn't have them up on their website. I found them instead in an Excel spreadsheet here, though the numbers haven't changed since December, which makes me wonder how accurate they are.

- A summary of equipment delivered to the Iraqi military from March-May. This is summarized from the Multi-National Security Transition Command (MTSTC) site, which is pretty interesting in terms of photos and info.

After watching a program on A&E about the Branch Davidian compound disaster in '93, I got to wondering what the place looks like now.

Here's one account from '95, and again in '97. His site is also interesting for its overview of the various factions among the Branch Davidians that are left (though its probably hopelessly outdated by now). Another person visited in '02, although with no pictures. And finally, one from 2005.
