via Gregg Easterbrook's "Tuesday Morning QB" column, an example of how the Kelo ruling by SCOTUS is already being used to seize private land for politically-connected developers. Much more of this to come, to be sure.

lightning storm

While flying home from Columbus Friday night, I saw an interesting phoenomena: a lightning storm, from the topside. I put together a small (80k) WMV movie file of two of the flashes I saw from the plane. The red light in the center of the screen is the light at the tip of the wing.
