Of note: for the 24-7 news stations (FOX, CNN, MSNBC) the big story is whether the POTUS debates are going on tonight. Makes sense when you think about it: for them, it will eat up a good half-day or so with overanalysis of who-said-what, what-did-their-body-language-say, focus-group-reactions, etc. If there is no debate they get denied an easy schedule filler (and RATINGS!), and that's the big issue here for them.

I guess $700 billion just doesn't have the wow-factor it used to have...
