Ben Franklin lived to a quite ripe old age, so I'm not sure how much extra mileage you would get out of him---he was still feisty, but starting to wind down a bit.
Mozart, definitely! Byron, Keats, and Shelley are good contenders. Especially Keats. Pliny the Elder (damn that little volcanic eruption...)
