OK, I thought this panel was going to turn into another unnecessary "stalker" storyline. That female character in the past year of the strip has been assaulted at work, had a married man tell her he wanted to leave his wife for her, and moved to a remote village in Canada to teach Inuit children. Having a new romantic interest who she's only met once say that seemed a precursor of more stretch-the-credibility drama.

However, it appears I misread where the arc was going.

Alistair Cooke's bones stolen. Apparently a crime ring sold them to two tissue processing companies. In addition to the immorality of effectively grave-robbing, the criminals also didn't have a problem with knowingly selling cancerous bone for transplant into patients, falsifying the records provided to the tissue companies.
