Dr. Z

One of my favorite sports writers, Paul Zimmerman (Dr. Z of Sports Illustrated) suffered two strokes in November and has had a slow recovery. This past weekend I found his wife's blog at baileyzimmerman.blogspot.com, and its a sobering diary of what a supporter's life is like.

Paul is still having trouble with speech, and I was going to recommend something like the board that kjc's friend qbaz had put together for him while he was in the hospital on a trach tube & unable to talk. But, I dunno. I have no idea what his motor skills are at right now, and it doesn't sound like he's able to read right now, either. sigh.
