First crop of the year

Yesterday, after raking the small apples which had fallen from the apple trees, I went over to see how the vegatible garden was going. Just for the heck of it, not expecting anything so soon, I looked around the zucchini plants, and lo and behold, a full-grown zucchini was ready for harvesting.

I suspect we'll end up with far more zucchini than we can use if its already producing, but I wanted to see if all the hype about the plants producing powers holds true for us. Looking forward to tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers in the weeks and months ahead.
