ABD-ness

After discussions with my doctoral committee, we've reached a mutual decision that it would be best for me to set aside my dissertation for now and do something else. This means I'm going to remain ABD (all-but-dissertation) and start job hunting. It is disappointing, but the writing on the wall that this was going to happen has been there for a while, so it is something of a relief to finally have the decision made. Donna and I are talking over what our next steps should be.
