* Eagles lost to the Steelers, bleah. Only preseason, though. No injuries, either, which is all one can really ask for from a meaningless game.
* Ah, rats - and the Greeks lost to the Argentinians in Olympics basketball. I was hoping we'd have seen a Greece-USA finals, which would have been something to see just for the crowd reaction alone. So far, I've seen the Greek crowd force a rescoring in one event (a gymnastics one) and delay significantly the start of another (the 200 meter run, where the Greek favorite had been forced out of the Games for doping violations); can't recall this level of crowd interference ever happening in the Olympics before.
