tagrynWas in New York City at the end of last week for the annual Population Association of America meetings, took some pictures.
Photos of the World Trade Center site, taken during my trip to NYC at the end of March. Not much to say - its a construction site now, with appropriate memorials, but still a construction site. I did see one guy getting arrested at the entrance to the PATH station, I think because he was trying to hauck NY Post newspapers on the grounds instead of across the street.
Photos of the new POD hotel in NYC. I got the cheapest room, the bunkbed. Reminded me of what a cabin on a cruise liner must be like, with shared bathrooms. Not bad for the price.
