Turkey Trot 2007

Ran in the annual 2-mile "Turkey Trot" charity run at the Census today. It was cloudy and temps were around 50, so it was pleasant enough that I could jog in shorts, though I kept my jacket on for most of it. I've ran in worse weather, but it was definitely colder than I like for running. I finished at around 21 minutes, which wasn't great but wasn't horrible, either. I did finish dead-last among the men, though, and was far enough behind the last gaggle of runners that the people directing the runners had given up and headed back inside already, so I missed one of the turns and made myself go back and finish that section after getting to the finish to complete the whole 2 miles. bleah.

Two miles in twenty minutes is very respectable.
