Tom Baker on BBC America

If you're a fan of Tom Baker, best known for playing the fourth Dr. Who, and have BBC America, you may want to check out a series called "Monarch of the Glen" on Saturday (6 PM EST). The show tends toward the soapish, but Tom still seems to be in good form, if the couple episodes of this I saw in England were any indication. In 5 more episodes - early April - Anthony Head, best known for his role in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", joins MofG as well.

Eek! Tom Baker with short hair, alas!

Alas indeed, but I'm glad he's still around and getting work, considering the alternative. From some of his Q&A sessions archived at his site, a couple years back it seems like he thought his career was pretty much over.
