Aug. 31st, 2004 01:20 pm- Porphyrogenitus has a disturbing report on the state of Basic Training in today's Army. I've always thought using the Armed Forces as a laboratory for social justice was a Bad Idea, long-ago successes with racial integration notwithstanding. Hopefully I'll feel better on this after he puts up his promised "positive points" essay.
- Here's one of the more arrogant blog entries I've run across, and that's saying something. It always amazes me when an author, in any medium, tells his readers "I don't care whether you keep reading or not", but continues to write. If you're not out there to communicate, why bother?
