A little sad, too: this sight was supposed to be common under the original shuttle proposal of 50 launches a year, as outlined in chapter 1 of the Columbia accident report. Now they have to do it because NASA needs a backup ready to go if the first shuttle gets too damaged during launch to reenter the atmosphere.
