Anniversary
Apr. 6th, 2009 11:24 amIt's Donna and my 7th anniversary. Yay!
Its also baseball opening day.
Funny how that works out.
We're having a new hot water heater installed tomorrow, as our current one started leaking over the weekend and we got only warmish water for showers this morning. When we bought the house over a year ago, the home inspection guy back then said that it was past its normal lifespan already, so we're lucky it hasn't failed before now. Unfortunately the water heater and our furnace are in the same utility closet, and I really don't want it to get to the point where it floods out and takes the furnace out with it. That would be a Bad Thing.
We also finally bought a new sofa yesterday, as our set is 15 years old and feels it. A local furniture warehouse was having a big sale, and we saw one that we both liked. There's some delivery issues, of course, but nothing that can't be worked out.
Between the cost of both of those, I feel I've done my job stimulating the economy for a while.
