NOLA: conspiracy theories :)

After seeing all the conspiracy theories which popped up after 9/11, I figured I'd save them the effort and come up with some for them on my own. Strictly tongue-in-cheek, but firmly based on the stuff I saw crop up after September 11th which is still enjoying a healthy existence on the fringes of political discussion.

LIHOP - You know, the government KNEW those levees couldn't hold, but decided NOT to reinforce them. You also saw how long they delayed the evacuation orders. Man, its pretty obvious they Let It Happen On Purpose. Why? Its easy to see, if you're smart enough to see the TRUTH (choose 1 or more from the following list): (1) Bush needed a distraction from Iraq, and decided to let the hurricane "wag the dog" for him; (2) minorities vote Democratic, so the Powers That Be wanted to KILL OFF as many of them as possible; (3) they wanted to create a SLAVE RACE of displaced poor black folks who would be ENTIRELY DEPENDENT on the Government, easy to control. No, I don't know why they'd want that, but they obviously have their own reasons... (4) the Government wanted to see how quickly they could get an entire city to vacate, as a test study for their FUTURE PLANS to move masses of NONCHRISTIAN civilians into CONCENTRATION CAMPS once the theocracy casts off its Trojan Horse of "democracy"...

MIHOP - Have you actually SEEN a levee? They're giant, enormous structures, with concrete reinforcement on top. There's NO WAY any natural occurrence could break them. And sure, there'd have been some surge along the coast, but miles up the river? In a lake? And why didn't the river levees break - they were the same distance inland! Furthermore, it was the most *modern* levees that broke, while the older ones held - what sense does THAT make? Think about this, too - these days there's cameras recording *everywhere*, but there's NO FOOTAGE OF THE LEVEES DURING THE SUPPOSED "BREAK"?!? Come on! What DIDN'T they want us to see??? In fact, there is SECRET FOOTAGE of PRE-PLACED EXPLOSIVES going off in the levees out there, that the Government doesn't want leaked. Furthermore, for the past few years there's been reports of BULLDOZERS "working" on the levees that "broke" - what have they REALLY been doing? Weakening them? Why can't we get a straight answer? Maybe because they Made It Happen On Purpose?

"The Joooooos" - There's thousands of Americans dead, but no Israelis? Did the Mossad have INSIDE INFORMATION that something was GOING TO HAPPEN, and informed the Israeli Consulate in New Orleans to get all Israeli citizens to get out of town, but didn't want to tell Americans? Maybe the Mossad was actually BEHIND THE WHOLE THING??

New World Order - There's hundreds of helicopters operating in New Orleans, but FEW have any identification markings on them - no American flags! Most are, in fact, painted PITCH BLACK to prevent easy recognition. And there's even reports of NON-AMERICANS flying some of the helicopters! Clearly, the operation of FOREIGN POWERS in American airspace is another step in the dissolution of the American Government and an establish of ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT; the flood was just a pretext for a carefully-laid plan to be put into operation. Are there any plans to ask these FOREIGN POWERS to leave? Why won't the government give us a straight answer?

My favorite will always be "The Jooooooooos". Yeah, they all left town! It's like....they KNEW a hurricane was coming! Conspiracy!

I've already had one person tell me seriously that this is part of the NWO plot, of which the Bush family is a major supporter, which calls for reducing the world population, particularily among the poor.

Global Warming, far from the "official" line of it not existing, is actually being cultivated by the current administration, in hopes of creating more hurricanes and typhoons (the Third World gets typhoons) to reduce the minority populations of the world, who primarily live in the tropics and in low-lying areas and on islands. (I was told on Tuesday, seriously, that these hurricanes are caused by government experiments with HAARP, so of course this conspiracy theory would be a natural follow-on.)
