Oh yes! This is in there with all the people who come up to me at historic events and say "Wouldn't you love to live in x era?" To which I reply that I'm a tourist here, and no I wouldn't. I particularily like modern medicine, thank you.
(And as the product of a non-voluntary C-section after 68 hours of labor, either my mother or I or both would have been dead, anyway, depending on the era.)
