For example, via a PBS interview with Admiral James Stockdale, who was Ross Perot's running mate in '92. I actually was a big fan of Perot's populist message at the time, but reading how his campaign basically left Adm. Stockdale out to dry with no preparation prior to the debates makes me think it's probably a good thing Perot didn't win. A guy who runs such a disorganized campaign probably would have been a disaster as President.
