Hopefully, but its a tribute to its cleverness and wariness that we've been putting nuts out for a good couple of weeks now and these were the first ones I've been able to get, from across the living room.
He's a smart one: in for a moment, picks up a few peanuts, then off again.
They learn. I stayed at a place on Klamath Lake, two years ago, where I left a bag of peanuts on the table *inside* with the door to the balcony open, and had a totally unexpected visitor fly in, light on the table, grab a peanut and fly out the door!
